Lighuis Kingdom Centre
Die Lighuis (Lighthouse) in McGregor is our base in Africa. From there, we operate in our own communities (Robertson, McGregor, Ashton, Nkqubela, Droëheuwel), which include various Jesus-focused ministries such as WordKitchen, The Ark (woodwork center), Kingdom Creations (sewing center), Youth ministries, Home visits to our communities (sick & elderly), a Doctor's room, and Substance abuse prevention workshops. Die Lighuis also accommodates the Year Beyond programme.
What to do
Daily Program
Monday: Knit and Crochet
Tuesday: Learn How to Sew, learn to make an income.
WordKitchen Youth in McGregor
Wednesday: "At Risk Learners" - We guide children on the right path in the name of Jesus.
Women's Support group - We discuss issues in the marriage, drugs, and so much more, all in the name of Jesus.
Thursdays: Word Kitchen where we focus on Adults in need.
Dr Meintjies will be there for the day helping those in need of medical assistance.
Free for those who can't afford and affordable for those who can contribute.
Fridays: Future Fit Fridays
During the day we enjoy learning new skills and about Entrepreneurship.
At Night: Popcorn time!

Dr Kobus en Anet Meintjes
Dr. Kobus and Anet Meintjes are providing a medical service at McGregor Lighthouse every Thursday for the poor. It is an honor for us to extend our reach to the McGregor community, where we have identified a need, and to offer assistance to those without access to transport. We look forward to being of service.

Our youth program focuses on teaching our youth to stay on the right path in Jesus' name and to learn new skills, especially for those who are not in school or have experienced abuse.
